International Cooperation for a Shared Future
Global Industrial Cooperation
Background
Halting the Fragmentation in Global Industrial Chains
In response to the current trends of geoeconomic fragmentation, unilateral protectionism, and value-based “decoupling and supply-chain resilience”, GICC firmly upholds re-globalization and multilateralism. It serves as a platform for multilateral dialogue for consensus across the international industrial community, safeguard the global industrial and supply chains, advance re-globalization, and promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation.
Facilitating Cross-Border Industrial Chain Connectivity
GICC seeks to enhance industrial complementarity among countries within global supply chains: developed economies contribute technology and brands, while developing economies provide markets and production capacity, achieving upstream-downstream synergy. It focuses on AI, green industries, digital technology, and advanced manufacturing, promoting cross-border joint R&D and investment. It also fosters integration and synergy between large enterprises and SMEs, with particular emphasis on helping SMEs access to overseas resources and international markets.
Investment Matchmaking and Deal Signing
GICC brings together executives of Fortune Global 500 companies, industry leaders, representatives of international organizations, senior executives from national business associations and chambers of commerce, government officials, and diplomatic community for targeted, on-the-spot matchmaking, catalyzing investment projects, trade orders, and joint ventures, and other tangible commercial deliveries.
A High-standard Platform for International Engagement
GICC provides local governments in China with a high-standard platform for international engagement, attracting global industrial resources, cultivating homegrown multinational enterprises, and showcasing China's market opportunities.
Consensus Documents for Industrial Cooperation
GICC issues consensus documents on industrial cooperation, advocating mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and advancing sustainable development to support global economic sustainability.
