2005 US-China Business Matchmaking Conference (Shanghai)

On Jun 20th, the 2005 US-China Business Matchmaking (Shanghai) Conference, co-organized by US Department of Commerce, US Small Business Administration and US-China Exchange Association, was held in Purple Mountain Hotel, Shanghai


The US Business Delegation, led by William Hudnut, former US congressman and Past President of the US National League of Cities, and Dr. George Wang, President of USCEA, included five US city mayors and over forty US executives. They represented a wide rang of industries such as Financial Service, Machinery, Pharmaceutical, Textiles, Decoration, Power, Mining, Jewelry and others.


Over 600 Chinese Enterprises took part in the conference. According to preliminary statistics, about 40 investment or cooperation intentions have been signed. The total amount of these LOI is up to US$ 30 million.
