The Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME) is a non-profit multinational NGO approved by the US government, and was founded by the US-China Exchange Association (USCEA) together with more than one hundred prominent trade organizations from the G20 countries in 2009. Christian Wulff, Former President of Germany, serves as the Global Chairman of GASME. Approved by the Leadership Council, GASME has decided to set up GASME Center for World Economic Studies (CWES) for future development.

Leveraging the extensive resources of GASME, CWES aims to consolidate the best practices from around the world with the innovative thinking of influential industrial leaders, in order to better understand the global economic development trends. CWES’s research and analysis will track the global economic indicators, and propose constructive, practical, strategic policy recommendations using a timely and methodological approach.

The founding of CWES allows GASME to study the latest trends in the world economy and enhance the influence of academia in the business realm, while helping SMEs better understand the dynamics of the global economy, and providing additional stimulus for sustainable development of SMEs worldwide.

CWES is a non-profit NGO, operating under the leadership and guidance of GASME.
