The Third China’s SMEs Global Development Forum
Background and Objective
China’s “One Belt And One Road” initiative is a major focus point in the country’s economic development plans, and has the world’s attention. Building the Silk Road Economic Belt will help create new cooperation opportunities with partner nations, as well as facilitate the international development of Chinese SMEs.
China has modified its economic and innovation strategy by moving away from high-speed and toward moderate growth, with continued upgrades to economic structure, while entering into the digital, connected, internet age. It is clear that Chinese SMEs must tackle the difficult task of transforming their businesses and driving innovation through systematic upgrades and internationalization.
With the support of Ningbo Municipal Government, the Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME) proposes to hold the Third China’s SMEs Development Forum with Ningbo Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kofi Atta Annan, Former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former Prime Minister of France, Mr. Carlos Magariños, Former UNIDO Director-General and Mr. Long Yongtu, Chief Negotiator of China’s WTO Accession are expected to be keynotes to share their visions and insights on these megatrends in global economy and the most current issues regarding China’s and global economic growth.

Background
As a new financial organizational mode, Internet finance has greatly affected traditional finance. It has formed a new financial system made up with technology innovation, revolution of mode, industry shock, supervision framework and subversion of thinking pattern, and will gradually become one of the mainstreams of financial system.
Consistent with the policy environment of Internet financial industry constantly getting better and better back in 2013 and 2014, the financial industry sustains a rapid development with the proliferation of commercial activities and the plethora of innovative products. Nowadays, Internet finance has entered a national top-level construction and is highly concerned by top government. President Xi Jinping affirmed Internet finance and put forward that the development of Internet finance needs to think more and do more contribution. Premier Li Keqiang raised that promote the healthy development of the Internet finance in order to let the financial industry help small and rural areas in his two sessions government work report.
However, with the rapid development of Internet finance, it appears many problems at the same time. Under the background of unknown regulation, P2P network still has a suspicion of “3 No” product with terrible management methods such as deceitful projects and targets splitting emerging in endlessly. The differentiation of third-party payment industry is aggravating, meanwhile the technical risks, information leakage are common to see. There are still a lot of difficulties such as high grade projects finding, trust relationship establishing, pricing method, exit mechanism, etc existing in crowdfunding. Therefore, 10 ministries and commissions such as the central bank issued The Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of the Internet Finance, which pointed out the direction of standards and sustainable development of China’s Internet financial industry.
Facing up with these Internet financial growing pains, the society desiderates to build a platform to communicate, narrow differences, reach consensus and finally reach a win-win cooperation for regulators, practitioners and researchers. Summarizing the achievements and phenomena of nowadays Internet finance’s development and prospecting the future development and trend of Internet finance, “The International Forum of China Internet Finance” arises at the historic moment.
