2025 Qionglai Liquor Going to South America Promotion and Investment Conference Held in Sichuan
On November 15th, the “Fragrance of Qionglai Liquor Linking South America” Qionglai Liquor Going to South America Promotion and Investment Conference & China Liquor Industry DreamWorks Cooperation Base Inauguration Ceremony was held at the China Liquor DreamWorks in Qionglai, Chengdu.
This event is jointly organized by the Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME), Qionglai Municipal Liquor Industry Development Center, and Chengdu Liquor Group DreamWorks Co., Ltd., and has received strong support from the Chengdu International Chamber of Commerce and the Chengdu Center for Promoting International Cooperation. The theme of the event is “Fragrance of Qionglai Liquor Linking South America”. Through five major stages including keynote speeches, investment promotion, roundtable discussion, awarding ceremony, and signing ceremony, the event aims to accurately connect with South American market resources, consolidate the foundation of Qionglai liquor going global, and enhance its international competitiveness.
The guests attending this event include Carlos Magariños, Chairman of GASME and former Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Yang Guanrong, Vice President of the Sichuan Liquor Industry Association, Frank Cao, Executive Chairman and Secretary General of GASME, and more than 100 people from relevant departments of the Qionglai Municipal Government, representatives of the association, local key liquor enterprises and their distributors.
Chairman Magariños delivered a keynote speech titled “Chinese Enterprises Entering South America” during the event, detailing the situation of the South American market and analyzing the challenges and opportunities for Chinese enterprises entering South America. He pointed out future trends and provided suggestions. Yang Guanrong, Vice President of Sichuan Liquor Industry Association and General Manager of Sichuan Liquor Group, delivered a speech at the conference, hoping that Qiongjiu can expand to South America and the world in the future. Frank Cao, Executive Chairman and Secretary General of GASME, introduced the situation of the alliance in his speech, pointing out that the alliance is willing to cooperate with all parties to help Chinese enterprises such as Qionglai liquor better go global.
In the following roundtable discussion session, representatives of Chinese companies raised questions to Chairman Magariños regarding the problems they encountered when going global, especially to South American countries. At the conference, the China Liquor Industry DreamWorks Cooperation Base Inauguration Ceremony was also held. In addition, a manual titled “Chinese Liquor Entering South America: Opportunities, Risks, and Executable Roadmap” was released at the event, providing practical guidance for liquor companies to expand into the South American market.
“The overseas expansion of Qionglai liquor is an inevitable choice for the high-quality development of the industry, and this event is an important measure for Qionglai liquor to break through trade barriers and deeply cultivate the South American market”, said the person in charge of Qionglai Municipal Liquor Industry Development Center.
