Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former Prime Minister of France, and GASME Delegation Visit Shanghai Sanei Elevator Co., Ltd

On November 20th, 2013, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Former Prime Minister of France, Mr. Carlos Magariños, Former UNIDO Director-General & Global Chairman of GASME, along with the GASME delegation, paid a visit to Shanghai Sanei Elevator Co., Ltd.

Shanghai Sanei Elevator Co., Ltd is one of the leading companies in elevator manufacturing and installation. With the development strategy of “embracing the world based on its localization,” Sanei has introduced a complete set of production equipment to ensure its capability to produce various types of elevators and escalators, which are sold to about 24 countries in Europe, Africa, America and Asia.

During the visit, Mr. Wu Jianhua, President of Sanei, made a general introduction to the visiting guests on the company’s performance and development, and exchanged views with Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin and Mr. Carlos Magariños on Sanei’s investment programs in France and other areas around the world. At the meeting, Mr. Carlos Magariños awarded Sanei the title of “GASME Elevator R＆D Center” as recognition for its contribution to elevator industry over the years.

Later, Mr. Wu Jianhua showed the delegation the Sanei Technology Museum, providing firsthand experience of some of the world’s best elevators, which left Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin a very deep impression.

The visiting guests also included: Mrs. Patricia Espinosa, Senior Vice Chairman of GAMSE & Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, Mr. Ronald Bew, Senior Vice Chairman of GAMSE & Former Associate Deputy Administrator of U.S. Small Business Administration, Mr. Jin-Sheng Lue, Asia Representative of German Association of Cities, Mr. William Spitler, Senior Vice Chairman of GAMSE & Former Director of New York Center of U.S. Department of Commerce and Mr. Frank Cao, Secretary-General of GAMSE.
